About three to four times a week, our family ends our day on the back porch. Usually popsicles are the refreshment of choice and it has become a time that we catch up on each other's day without the TV or cell phones as a distraction. The boys love this time to share what is new with them; last night Jackson shared the rules of his new class at school and Charlie proved he could count to eleven (something we totally did not know he could do). I find myself looking forward to this time together and as the days continue to shorten, I know that each night is precious.
