With only 3 hours to go till Mickey, the boys were eager to start the Morton train moving this morning. We had several things on the agenda after arrival, first being packet pickup for the marathon on Sunday. We had to attend the Run Disney Expo at ESPN complex. With 55,000 runners expected over two days (1/2 and full marathon participants), the Expo was somewhat crowded.
After the Expo extravaganza, we headed to Downtown Disney for a little shopping and food. We ate at the T-Rex restaurant and the boys were super excited to be seated next to the huge aquarium.
We then headed to Lego store and checked out the Star Wars characters. Jackson received a book from Joe's mom for Christmas with all the Star
Wars Lego sets and characters, so he was happy to see them in person, especially the Death Star.
Our next stop was to check into our resort for the night. We
stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside, with heated pools, playgrounds and fishing we figured that if the parks were a bust at least we could keep them entertained at the resort.....
The lego store looks so fun! I have no clue what the Death Star is, LOL!
ReplyDeleteTiffany, Joe and I both cracked up at the comment on the Death Star. It is such common language at our house these days but about 3 years ago I would not of known what it was either!
