While waiting to be seated at Red Robin tonight, the boys discovered a claw arcade. I remember this same claw arcade growing up. I knew the chances of getting a toy out of this machine were close to winning the lottery, so when Joe pulled his wallet out to try I just shook my head. After discovering his wallet void of one dollar bills, I thought that fate did in fact have better judgement; however, seeing the boys disappointment over not being able to play I too got sucker in and funded the dollar trap. Jackson and Charlie were super excited to try to grab something and after one unsuccessful attempt, Joe stuck gold: a green octopus. Jackson was ecstatic about the prize and proceeded to show just about every diner in Red Robin "the prize my daddy won for me". After showing our waiter the prize, the waiter declared, "You actually got something". Word started to spread. Several of the wait staff even stopped to see the prize just to verify that someone did in fact grab a prize out of the machine (I guess they too had gotten suckered). This fueled Jackson's glee over the toy even more and he kept thanking Joe for winning the elusive prize... hmmm what about a thank you for the sponsor?
