We took our first trip to Santa's Village this year. The setting of Santa's Village is Huntsville's Constitution Village which is part of the Early Works Museum. The houses in the village represent a history of Huntsville dated back to 1819, so it had a very old world feel.
The boys were super excited and I must admit I had big expectations myself. The boys
were happy to see first off Frosty the Snowman, maybe because we had listened to the song on repeat on the way downtown, but they enjoyed a dance with him.

Next we peered at the live Reindeer who were completely uninterested in the festivities, maybe they were saving their energy for the big night, and then off to Santa's Sleigh.

They had a set for children around the world that the boys were moderately interested in; however all three boys got excited for the Frosty photo opportunity.

Then we were off to hear Ms Claus read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and to write
Santa a letter. Jackson had a little hesitation on the Naughty or Nice
check box, but after explaining that he had tried over the last couple of days, he decided on Nice. Charlie checked Nice with no hesitation, hmmm...... Another neat thing about Santa's Village is that there is a direct post drop for Santa's letter.
Now time to visit the Big Man and put in requests face to face. Now most younger kids have some hesitation about Santa, not Charlie, who ran to Santa yelling "HO HO HO!!!" The boys got in their requests and after a gingerbread cookie we deemed the whole experience a success!
