For Christmas last year we bought Jackson a new bible. He had had several different children's bibles but he really like the Read with Me Bible, which over time had started to fall apart. He really enjoys this version mainly because of the illustrations. Every night at bedtime he picks three books and most nights the bible makes the cut. Last night Joe was reading him the story of Paul and Silas in the prison and how the Jailer asked to be baptized.
Jackson sat listening to the story quietly and then looked at Joe very seriously and said, "Dad when I get baptized, I am going to wear my goggles." I bet that will be a first at Trinity Baptist!
