Magic Kingdom

We saved the best for last! We were very excited to venture to the Magic Kingdom on our last day in Orlando. Upon admission,we headed to the Crystal Palace. The Crystal Palace no only offers delicious breakfast but also the ability to dine with your favorite Winnie the Pooh pals. The boys were excited to see Pooh and Eeyore but the big ticket characters for our family were Piglet and
Tigger.
Ever since Charlie was a baby he has loved his Piglet stuffed animal, so when he saw Piglet in person he squealed so loud I think that it startled Joe and I and maybe a few other diners.
Piglet came to our table and I think he got a kick out of Charlie's excitement. Piglet rubbed noses with Charlie over and over and even had a little peek-a-boo time with him.
By the time Tigger made it to our table, Jackson was little nervous. Tigger said hello then promply started to eat Jackson's napkin. Jackson was so happy and started laughing hysterically. Jackson loved that Tigger spent extra time with him and throughout the day Jackson kept telling the story over and over that Tigger tried to eat HIS napkin!

We then headed over to Fantasyland to ride Dumbo, Peter Pan, and many other rides. The trusty Unofficial Guide had told us to go directly to Dumbo whose lines were the longest. The good thing about off season, I think that we only waited 5 minutes. Charlie loved the ride, Jackson
was a little less impressed since he had conquered his first roller coaster the day prior. Then we enjoyed Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, It's a Small World (which Charlie loved) and the carousel.

We wrapped up Fantasyland by a visit to Mickey's Toon Time Fair and both boys were able to ride Goofy's roller coaster and then we headed to Mickey's Country House. While visiting his home, Mickey made a surprise appearance with his sweetheart Minnie and we were able to get some quick autographs and pictures.
We then rode the train to Frontierland and grabbed some lunch. While waiting Charlie
decided to snooze so Joe and Jackson rode Thunder Mountain, which Jackson barely qualified to ride. I was a little nervous about Jackson riding a serious roller coaster but when he returned from the ride he was all smiles and very proud.

We then headed to Adventureland and rode the Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Carribean. While on the ride I feared that Jackson might be a little scared of the pirates but he LOVED all the pirates and "their guns". We finished off Adventureland with a Magic Carpet ride with Aladdin.

We wrapped up our tours with Tomorrowland and enjoyed Buzz Lightyear and Monsters Inc. Our last ride was the Tomorrowland Speedway. The ride allows the kids to drive small race cars
around a track with an adult. Jackson and I were a team and he was so excited and super focused on his driving. Charlie and Joe had a great time as well and even Charlie was able to drive his car. I think that the whole experience solidified that the boys turning 16 was a long time from now that is a very good thing.

One of our last stops was Main Street to enjoy some ice cream. The boys had their first ice cream cone, which had Mickey ears.

Upon leaving, we ran into the last character that the boys needed an autograph from: Pluto.

As we rode the monorail back Joe and I both were happy about how the day had gone and very happy that we did this trip with our boys.
