Visiting Great Grandmother

With a little extra time on our hands, we decided to make an impromptu visit to my grandmother's house to visit and catch up. Even with short notice, my grandmother, who was very excited for us to drop by, had gone to the grocery store and stocked up on treats for the boys. Her reasoning was that she wanted the visit to be memorable. I think with the goody bag of treats and Dora on in the background, they will probably remember her house as a Nickelodeon Gingerbread fun house.

Joe and I enjoyed catching up with her so much that when we got back to my parents' house, we called her and asked if she would go to dinner with us. What an interesting, fantastic lady!
