Mother's Day Weekend

Mother's Day weekend was a typical weekend at the Morton house. Saturday, Jackson wanted to take Charlie to the new park that we discovered on Thursday. The boys had a blast, including Joe, who we had a hard time keeping off the swings, slides, rock wall etc.

We came home to the Great Piglet Search. We found Piglet in the kitchen trash.
Charlie is known to throw away items in the house, ie two hair brushes, one compact, a blush brush, and numerous magnetic alphabet letters (and this is just what we have caught). I'm guessing Piglet and Charlie had a disagreement but by nap time all was forgiven.

Sunday, Charlie was so excited to wish me Mother's Day, he decided to get up at 4:45. We had to wait a while for Joe and Jackson to wake but they were all excited to give me my cards. At second glance I decided that maybe Joe was a little distracted when deciding which one to buy.

Overall, we had a great weekend. Jackson left use with a few words of wisdom: bulls have horns so don't make them mad and poison ivy has three leaves not five (yes, we are a little paranoid about poison ivy at this house).
