Jackson and I decided to have a date day. We had a day packed full of all the things that Jackson loves: 2 parks (Indian Creek Greenway and Dublin), a trip to Target including a cookie, then it was off to Huntsville Space and Rocket Center to watch Jackson's first 3D movie. All car time was spent listening to The Beach Boys, Jackson's favorite band; which he sings as loud as he can.
We were able to fit all this in before noon, partly because 7:30am is considered mid-morning at the Morton house most days. After the movie we headed back to the house for lunch which Jackson insisted to have a peanut butter, jelly, and turkey sandwich. He declared, "It is not yucky at all." I guess that the morning wore him out because after lunch he took a four hour nap. On our way to pick up Charlie he wanted to make sure that I learned something from our date together: a gorilla is the king of the jungle, if you see a bear run as fast and you can because it will eat you, and most importantly Spiderman and Ironman do not drive minivans. 
Looking at the pictures of the day did teach me something: time goes by so fast!
